Genetic Engineering will change everything.

magine you were alive back in the 1980's,

and were told that computers would soon take over everything:

from shopping, to dating, and the stock market,

that billions of people would be connected via a kind of web,

that you would own a handheld device, orders of magnitudes more powerful than supercomputers.

It would seem absurd, but then, all of it happened.

Science fiction became our reality, and we don't even think about it.

We're at a similar point today with genetic engineering.

So, let's talk about it.

Where it came from, what we're doing right now,

and about a recent breakthrough, that will change how we live and what we perceive as normal, forever.

Humans have been engineering life for thousands of years.

Through selective breeding, we strengthened useful traits in plants and animals.

We became very good at this, but never fully understood how it worked.

Until we discovered the code of life, Deoxyribonucleic Acid—DNA.

A complex molecule that guides the growth, development, function, and reproduction of everything alive.

Information is encoded in the structure of the molecule.

Four nucleotides are paired and make up a code that carries instructions.

Change the instructions and you change the being carrying it.

As soon as DNA was discovered, people tried to tinker with it.

In the 1960's, scientist bombarded plants with radiation to cause random mutations in the genetic code.

The idea was to get a useful plant variation by pure chance.

Sometimes it actually worked too.

In the 70's, scientists inserted DNA snippets into bacteria, plants, and animals

to study and modify them for research, medicine, agriculture, and for fun.

The earliest genetically modified animal was born in 1974, making mice a standard tool for research, saving millions of lives.

In the 80's, we got commercial. The first patent was given for a microbe engineered to absorb oil.

Today we produce many chemicals by means of engineered life,

like life-saving clotting factors, growth hormones, and insulin.

All things we had to harvest from the organs of animals before that.

The first food modified in the lab went on sale in 1994: the Flavr Savr tomato,

a tomato given a much longer shelf life where an extra gene that suppresses the build-up of a rotting enzyme.

But GM food and the controversy surrounding them deserve a video of their own.

In the 1990's, there was also a brief foray into human engineering.

To treat maternal infertility, babies were made that carried genetic information from 3 humans.

Making them the first humans ever to have 3 genetic parents.

Today there are super muscled pigs, fast-growing salmon, featherless chicken, and see-through frogs.

On the fun side, we made things glow in the dark.

Fluorescent zebrafish are available for as little as ten dollars.

All of this is already very impressive, but until recently

gene editing was extremely expensive, complicated, and took a long time to do.

This has now changed with a revolutionary new technology now entering the stage—CRISPR.

Overnight, the costs of engineering have shrunk by 99 %.

Instead of a year, it takes a few weeks to conduct experiments, and basically everybody with a lab can do it.

It's hard to get across how big a technical revolution CRISPR is.

It literally has the potential to change humanity forever.

Why did this sudden revolution happen and how does it work?

Bacteria and viruses have been fighting since the dawn of life.

So-called bacteriophages or phages hunt bacteria.

In the ocean, phages kill 40 % of them every single day.

Phages do this by inserting their own genetic code into the bacteria and taking them over to use them as factories.

The bacteria tried to resist but failed most the time because their protection tools are too weak,

But sometimes bacteria survive an attack.

Only if they do so can they activate their most effective antivirus system:

they save a part of the virus DNA in their own genetic code in a DNA archive called CRISPR.

Here it's stored safely until it's needed.

When the virus attacks again, the bacterium quickly makes an RNA copy from the DNA archive and arms a secret weapon—a protein called CAS9.

The protein now scans the bacterium's insides for signs of the virus invader

by comparing every bit of DNA it finds to the sample from the archive.

When it finds a 100-percent perfect match,

it's activated and cuts out the virus DNA, making it useless, protecting the bacterium against the attack.

What's special is that CAS9 is very precise, almost like a DNA surgeon.

The revolution began when scientists figured out that the CRISPR system is programmable.

You can just give it a copy of DNA you want to modify and put the system into a living cell.

If the old techniques of genetic manipulation were like a map, CRISPR is like a GPS system.

Aside from being precise, cheap, and easy, CRISPR offers the ability to edit live cells,

to switch genes on and off, and target and study particular DNA sequences.

It also works for every type of cell: microorganisms, plants, animals, or humans.

But despite the revolution CRISPR is for science, it's still just a first generation tool.

More precise tools are already being created and used as we speak.

In 2015, scientists use CRISPR to cut the HIV virus out of living cells

from patients in the lab, proving that it was possible.

Only about a year later, they carried out a larger scale project with rats

that had the HIV virus in basically all of their body cells.

By simply injecting CRISPR into the rats tails,

they were able to remove more than 50 % of the virus from cells all over the body.

In a few decades, a CRISPR therapy might cure HIV and other retroviruses,

viruses that hide inside human DNA like Herpes could be eradicated this way.

CRISPR could also defeat one of our worst enemies—cancer.

Cancer occurs when cells refuse to die and keep multiplying while concealing themselves from the immune system.

CRISPR gives us the means to edit your immune cells and make them better cancer hunters.

Getting rid of cancer might eventually mean

getting just a couple of injections of a few thousand of your own cells

that have been engineered in the lab to heal you for good.

The first clinical trial for a CRISPR cancer treatment on human patients was approved in early 2016 in the US.

Not even a month later, Chinese scientists announced that they would treat lung cancer patients

with immune cells modified with CRISPR in August 2016.

Things are picking up pace quickly.

And then there are genetic diseases.

There are thousands of them and they range from mildly annoying to deadly or entail decades of suffering.

With a powerful tool like CRISPR, we may be able to end this.

Over 3,000 genetic diseases are caused by a single incorrect letter in your DNA.

We are already building a modified version of CAS9 that is made to change just a single letter, fixing the disease in the cell.

In a decade or two, we could possibly cure thousands of diseases forever.

But all of these medical applications have one thing in common:

they are limited to the individual and die with them,

except if you use them on reproductive cells or very early embryos.

But CRISPR can and probably will be used for much more:

the creation of modified humans—designer babies—and will mean gradual,

but irreversible changes to the human gene pool.

The means to edit the genome of a human embryo already exists.

Though the technology is still in its early stages, but it has already been attempted twice.

In 2015 and 2016, Chinese scientists experimented with human embryos and were partially successful on their second attempt.

They showed the enormous challenges we still face in gene editing embryos,

but also that scientists are working on solving them.

This is like the computer in the 70's. There will be better computers.

Regardless of your personal take on genetic engineering, it will affect you.

Modified humans could alter the genome of our entire species, because their engineered traits will be passed on to their children

and could spread over generations, slowly modifying the whole gene pool of humanity.

It will start slowly. The first designer babies will not be overly designed.

It's most likely that they will be created to eliminate a deadly genetic disease running in a family.

As the technology progresses and gets more refined, more and more people may argue that not using genetic modification is unethical,

because it condemns children to preventable suffering and death and denies them the cure.

But as soon as the first engineered kid is born, a door is opened that can't be closed anymore.

Early on, vanity traits will mostly be left alone.

But as genetic modification becomes more accepted and our knowledge of our genetic code enhances, the temptation will grow.

If you make your offspring immune to Alzheimer, why not also give them an enhanced metabolism?

Why not throw in perfect eyesight?

How about height or muscular structure?

Full hair?

How about giving your child the gift of extraordinary intelligence?

Huge changes are made as a result of the personal decisions of millions of individuals that accumulate.

This is a slippery slope. Modified humans could become the new standard.

But as engineering becomes more normal and our knowledge improves,

we could solve the single biggest mortality risk factor: aging.

Two-thirds of the 150,000 people who died today will die of age-related causes.

Currently we think aging is caused by the accumulation of damage to our cells,

like DNA breaks and the systems responsible for fixing those wearing off over time.

But there are also genes that directly affect aging.

A combination of genetic engineering and other therapy could stop or slow down aging, maybe even reverse it.

We know from nature that there are animals immune to aging.

Maybe we could even borrow a few genes for ourselves.

Some scientists even think biological aging could be something that eventually just stops being a thing.

We would still die at some point, but instead of doing so in hospitals at age 90,

we might be able to spend a few thousand years with our loved ones.

Research into this is in its infancy,

and many scientists are rightly skeptical about the end of aging.

The challenges are enormous and maybe it is unachievable,

but it is conceivable the people alive today might be the first to profit from effective anti aging therapy.

All we might need is for someone to convince a smart billionaire to make it their next problem to solve.

On a bigger scale, we certainly could solve many problems by having a modified population.

Engineered humans might be better equipped to cope with high-energy food,

eliminating many diseases of civilization like obesity.

In possession of a modified immune system, with a library of potential threats,

we might become immune to most diseases that haunt us today.

Even further into the future, we could engineer humans to be equipped for extended space travel

and to cope with different conditions on another planets,

which would be extremely helpful in keeping us alive in our hostile universe.

Still, a few major challenges await us: some technological, some ethical.

Many of you watching will feel uncomfortable and fear that we will create a world in which we will reject non-perfect humans

and pre-select features and qualities based on our idea of what's healthy.

The thing is we are already living in this world.

Tests for dozens of genetic diseases or complications have become standard for pregnant women in much of the world.

Often the mere suspicion of a genetic defect can lead to the end of a pregnancy.

Take Down syndrome for example, one of the most common genetic defects.

In Europe, about 92 % of all pregnancies where it's detected are terminated.

The decision to terminate pregnancy is incredibly personal,

but it's important to acknowledge the reality that we are pre-selecting humans based on medical conditions.

There is also no use in pretending this will change,

so we have to act carefully and respectfully as we advance the technology and can make more and more selections.

But none of this will happen soon.

As powerful as CRISPR is—and it is, it's not infallible yet.

Wrong edits still happen as well as unknown errors that can occur anywhere in the DNA and might go unnoticed.

The gene edit might achieve the desired result—disabling a disease,

but also might accidentally trigger unwanted changes.

We just don't know enough yet about the complex interplay of our genes to avoid unpredictable consequences.

Working on accuracy and monitoring methods is a major concern as the first human trials begin.

And since we've discussed a possible positive future, there are darker visions too.

Imagine what a state like North Korea could do if they embraced genetic engineering.

Could a state cement its rule forever by forcing gene editing on their subjects?

What would stop a totalitarian regime from engineering an army of modified super soldiers?

It is doable in theory.

Scenarios like this one are far, far off into the future, if they ever become possible at all.

But the basic proof of concept for genetic engineering like this already exists today.

The technology really is that powerful.

While this might be a tempting reason to ban genetic editing and related research, that would certainly be a mistake.

Banning human genetic engineering would only lead to the science wandering off

to a place with jurisdiction and rules that we are uncomfortable with.

Only by participating can we make sure that further research is guided by caution, reason, oversight, and transparency.

Do you feel uncomfortable now?

Most of us have something wrong with them.

In the future that lies ahead of us, would we have been allowed to exist?

The technology is certainly a bit scary, but we have a lot to gain,

and genetic engineering might just be a step in the natural evolution of intelligent species in the universe.

We might end disease.

We could extend our life expectancy by centuries and travel to the stars.

There's no need to think small when it comes to this topic.

Whatever your opinion on genetic engineering, the future is approaching no matter what.

What has been insane science fiction is about to become our new reality,

a reality full of opportunities and challenges.

Behind the conspiracy; the reptilians.

george bush justin bieber alexander the great genghis khan

every chinese emperor queen elizabeth mark zuckerberg what do all these people have in common

well all of them hide a dark and cold secret just beneath their artificial

skins according to four percent of americans that is explain yourself

in 2013 public polling revealed that a small but not entirely negligible portion of the united states population

subscribed to the idea that a race of shape-shifting lizard people control our world by taking on human form and

gaining power by comparison the same poll found that seven percent of respondents believe the

moon landing was fake and five percent claim the beatles member paul mccartney died in 1966 and

was secretly replaced with a body double ever since around the early 2000s there

has been this idea floating around in our popular consciousness that a collection of famous people from

our political leaders to celebrities are secretly reptile-like aliens disguised

as humans these mysterious beings from another planet have been delicately influencing

us throughout our distant and not so distant past for malicious purposes

they control the government and popular culture telling us what to think and what to do

we could be a food source admittedly it is one of the more absurd and nutty conspiracies out there and to most

people it has rightfully become a sort of widespread joke however for others it is no joke at all

there are people who emphatically believe in this conspiracy often citing evidence from history cultural mythology

and archaeology that supposedly supports its existence where does this reptilian conspiracy

come from exactly what is the alleged evidence held up in its defense and why are there people who actually

believe in it to answer these questions i have a special guest joining us today dr david miano from the world of

antiquity channel hi trey thanks for having me i am really excited to be talking about reptilians

with you it's going to be fun i'll offer my observations as they come up let's get into it so sit back and enjoy

this installment of behind the conspiracy reptilians

despite the claims of many of its proponents the idea of reptilians is relatively young it appears that we only

need to go back a little under 100 years to see its origins this specific origin story is often

mentioned in various pieces of reptilian media as the story goes on january 29th 1934

the los angeles times newspaper reported that an engineer by the name of george warren schufeldt had conducted a mining

survey beneath the city of l.a specifically under fort moore hill shufelt claimed to have discovered with

the help of a so-called radio x-ray machine a complex labyrinth of underground tunnels and catacombs

his x-ray pictures revealed rooms of solid gold and massive subterranean passages going as deep as a hundred feet

below the surface and according to him this intricate network formed the shape of a lizard

after consulting with a hopi indian by the name of little chief greenleaf schufeld concluded that the tunnels were

in fact something out of an old hopi legend the remains of a vast underground city

built five thousand years ago not by humans but by the lizard people

according to chief greenleaf there was once three such cities along the pacific coast of north america constructed in

order to escape some kind of great fiery cataclysm one thousand families of these lizard

people dwelled beneath the earth keeping records on gold tablets this ancient race was also incredibly

intelligent the intellectual accomplishments of their nine-year-old children were equal with those of

present-day college graduates we are told that all of shufelt's attempts to excavate this forgotten city

beneath the city were unsuccessful to say the least we will talk about this more in depth

later but according to most retellings funding on his project dried up and his findings never saw the light of day the

ruins of the lizard people and their dozens of gold treasures are allegedly still down there in the dark

just beneath the bustling streets and sidewalks of america's second largest city

from schufeld's original discovery we see the emergence of several similar conspiracies soon after in the 1940s

occultist and writer maurice de real wrote a little-known pamphlet entitled mysteries of the gobi where he describes

a serpent race with bodies like man but heads like a great snake

these snake men had the ability to take human form in an unspecified prehistoric

era they engaged in a violent war with humans and were driven to near extinction where de real got this information is

anyone's guess in the 1990s dariel's writings would later influence conspiracy theorist

david ike ike's writings are a whole other story but essentially just expanded on these original concepts that a race of ancient

lizard-like creatures from another star live underground in bases throughout the world and have disguised themselves as

influential humans mainly royal bloodlines in wealthy dynasties the bush family the british

royal family and the rothschilds etc these creatures secretly feasted on

human flesh or had some other malicious purpose in mind for us ike's influence took these relatively

unknown ideas to the mainstream and as a result the conspiracy of the reptilians or reptoids took on a new life and

resonated particularly well among right-wing conspiracy theorists it is claimed that humans for thousands

of years have been encountering these beings and evidence of these interactions have been preserved in the

artwork and stories of ancient humans in the wake of this surge believers

searched the past for corroborating evidence ancient aliens featured several of these in their episode and i will

give a brief overview of them before we take a closer look one of the most common examples used to

prove the existence of reptilians are these mysterious figurines from neolithic mesopotamia modern-day iraq

they are one of the few pieces of physical evidence tangible artifacts used by proponents archaeologists know

them as the ubiad lizard people figurines excavated from several mesopotamian sites such as the

prehistoric cities of ur and iradu the clay statuettes are all dated to the ubiad period of the region and depict

humanoids with thin and elongated bodies coffee bean-shaped eyes and pinched

noses that give their faces an overall reptilian-like appearance ancient aliens posits that they are too realistic to

depict mythological or fantasy creatures and are in fact based on the real deal

living breathing lizard men and women encountered by our early ancestors

in addition to these figurines reptilian proponents use a wide variation of mythological stories and religious texts

from cultures around the world to suggest they are all talking about the same thing several cultures mention reptile gods or

powerful snake-like beings as we mentioned before shufelt believed that the hopi tribe of north america had one

such story ancient aliens primarily focuses on the hebrew bible they claim that the bible references the existence

of a serpent race called the saphiram according to them the snake or nahash in the garden of eden was just one of a

race and was completely humanoid prior to god punishing it for tempting eve in the garden south asian mythology

mentions the nagas ancient aliens defines them as a semi-divine race of serpent people with

the well of sushana serving as the entrance to the underground city of the nagas named

patala the jinn in islam and the feathered serpent gods of mesoamerica are also viewed as lizardmen too i could

go on but according to legend alexander the great was sired by a dragon all of this is to

say that according to these conspiracy theorists many different regions around the world share unmistakable

similarities that lend credence to the idea that humans have been interacting with a race of advanced subterranean

reptile humanoids pretty regularly throughout history from at least the neolithic until relatively recent times

hellenistic periods and so on now this is a lot to unpack at its surface

i'm so sorry i know i really need to stop doing puns the evidence for the reptilian conspiracy may seem a tad bit

compelling but this is only because of the way books and tv shows like ancient aliens have phrased and presented these

examples in reality the reptilian conspiracy is built on nothing more than blatant lies and misinformation

let's break it down let's start with that lost city of the lizard people warren g shufelt claimed

to have discovered under los angeles as this story seemingly jumpstarted the whole conspiracy in the first place

the count as told in the original la times newspaper and how many have since retold it is misleading if not entirely

wrong as it leaves out many crucial details for example you might be asking if these catacombs exist why are there

no pictures taken of them or of the supposed gold tablets well it's because the whole story is itself a bunch of

bunk all the claims of shufelt told to the press were completely unsubstantiated as

he never presented any kind of physical proof to back himself up not a single tablet or engraved stone

not even pictures taken inside the tunnels the radio x-ray device shufelt claimed

to have used to find the site in the first place was nothing more than a glorified dowsing rod when looked at

closer as it had nothing to do with either radio waves or x-rays as many of you might have guessed george

warren shufelt was not the most trustworthy of individuals if one looks back at the records he had a long

history of pulling publicity stunts just like this according to the newspaper records would-be treasure seekers have been

looking for gold beneath la's fort moore hill ever since the late 1890s long before shoe felt even started all of

them turned up empty a couple decades later on march 4th 1933

a very familiar name appears in an edition of the la times almost an entire

year before that very same newspaper would run the lizard people's story wait a minute

our old friend shufelt and a group of men had decided to pick up where the 1890s gold hunters left off and began

excavating fort moore hill oh not for reptilian gold but conquistador gold according to him in

his possession was an ancient sheepskin map indicating that spanish treasure had been buried under the hill over a

hundred years ago hundreds of gold doubloons were just waiting to be dug up in this version of events we get no

mention of the fabled lizard people warren shufelt's adventures are subsequently detailed pretty extensively

in the l.a times that year from march to april his team repeatedly petitioned the la board of supervisors for extensions

and funding on their project with the intent of splitting the treasure with the city once it was discovered

they would consistently claim they were just about to unearth their goal if only they had a little more time by september

of 1933 however shufelt and all but one of his original team officially gave up the search

it's not that the project ran out of money it said it just found nothing and the la board of supervisors had begun to

suspect that they were being duped even at the time few believe the claims of shoe felt in his accomplices

one article claims that they were heckled by street goers as they worked as the months wore on everybody seemed

to realize that the story was just a bunch of hot air reporter ed ainsworth mockingly wrote isn't it funny how early

spaniards seemed to do nothing but trapeze around the country with jackloads of gold bullion they never

apparently wanted to spin their gold it was yet another version of the typical dying prospector story one that

many at the time had not only heard but had been fooled by before we should not forget that the backdrop

for this whole incident was the height of the great depression in the united states thousands of unemployed men across the

country were in dire need of work and a wage the idea of uncovering a secret

cache of spanish gold to bring people from rags to riches was a tempting prospect in fact much of the digging was

done by hand as a public works project to provide jobs for the city of la during the depression

the story helped motivate people even if it was all for naught in the end seriously blame the great depression for

giving us reptilians the whole thing would have lapsed into obscurity if not for schufeld's infamous reappearance in

the l.a times in january 1934 in the article that we read before

yes shufelt after abandoning his project as a failure for some reason decided to return to the press for a second time

with a familiar but tweaked version of his original tale in this new version there was no mention

of a sheepskin map or spanish conquistadors instead schufeld claims

that all along he was searching for an ancient city belonging to the race of lizard people

this is also where we first hear about the character of little chief greenleaf and the hopi legend so here's the thing

why change the story so drastically and suddenly well as it turns out it appears shufelt

made it all up and i mean everything let's start with his source little chief green leaf in reality there is no record

of such a person ever existing according to the birth and death certificate databases of the hopi reservation

now this doesn't rule out his existence entirely but i find it rather suspicious that the only reference i can find to

this person ever existing is this single newspaper article wait a second i feel like i've been in

this situation before i suspect that shufelt might have created green leaf out of whole cloth

fabricating an indian persona for himself to use as a puppet and in doing so lend credibility to his story

likewise the supposed hopi legend of the lizard people living underground doesn't appear to exist either skeptic brian

dunning after consulting tribal writings and ethnographic accounts was completely unable to find any basis for the story

in actual hopi mythology in fact the hopi don't even live in california shufelt might have actually meant the

zuni tribe not the hopi as the zuni do in fact have a vaguely similar legend

about their ancestors living in underground caves it goes like this men and creatures were more alike than

the now our fathers were black like the caves they came from their skins were cold and scaly like those of mud

creatures their eyes were goggled like an owls their ears were like those of cave bats their feet were webbed like

those of walkers and wet and soft places they had tails long or short as they

were old or young men crouched when they walked or crawled along the ground like lizards

they feared to walk straight but crouched as before time they had in their cave worlds that they might not

stumble or fall in uncertain light shufelt's version is a bit of a bastardization of the original sunni

myth the real legend isn't talking about the city of intelligent lizard people it's a creation myth for humanity like

the story of genesis according to the zuni humans originated from caves and were once far more

animal-like until they went to the surface this mythology is definitely interesting but not exactly evidence of

anything but humans telling creative stories shufelt seemingly twisted the original myth to sound far more science-fictiony

than it really was by adding falling stars in advanced technology scholars have also noted that his

version is very reminiscent of pulp science fiction authors at the time particularly the works of robert e

howard of conan the barbarian fame and hp oh god why is my cat named that lovecraft

howard created the serpent bin of elusia while lovecraft created stories like the nameless city

it is entirely possible that schufeld was familiar with these stories and used elements of both in his claims about the

lost metropolis beneath la if i were to guess shufeldt saw that he

had taken the old spanish gold story as far as it could after failing to produce results the first time he needed

additional funding in a new audience using a combination of zuni myths and

science fiction stories he had read about he produced a fresh new tale to grab people's attention and get his

treasure hunting business back on track it doesn't appear like it worked for him

as i found little of note about shoe felt following 1934 he died in 1957 age 71. his grave is

apparently still in valhalla memorial park in north hollywood if anyone wants to check

[Music] as for la's fort moore hill it has been

excavated extensively since the time of shoe felt in 1938 a fair amount of dirt from the

hill was used to fill union station during its construction in 1949 the broadway tunnel was

demolished to make way for the new hollywood freeway both projects were extensive but failed to produce any

evidence of underground catacombs or gold the origin of the reptilian conspiracy

was essentially just some random guy's attempt to make a quick buck during the great depression

and here we are now but what about all those other artifacts and stories

let's talk about those convincing figurines the ubayad figurines were first discovered by archaeologists back

in the 1920s who described them as drab pottery figurine of a man evidently they

didn't find them the most exciting or interesting of ancient artifacts little did they know that their relatively

minor discovery would be proclaimed almost a century later as one of the most central pieces of evidence to a

grand conspiracy i think all the attention that the lizardmen figurines get might be the result of the general

lack of published studies on them by actual scientists the absence of expert voices leading to nutty theories taking

root let's hear what david has to say about them because of their elongated heads pointed

noses dots on the torso and coffee bean-shaped eyes earlier treatments of these figurines

called them ophidian suggesting they are snake-like it's true that because this isn't a

period before writing we don't know a whole lot about them but they may very well be stylized human

figures the strange head could be a mask worn during ceremonies or other special

occasions or it could be artificial skull elongation which was practice we know this in the

area at the time the marks on the body may be tattoos or scarification

there's been a lot of talk about what they look like and not as much talk about what they were used for they've

been found in graves and within settlements they were not children's toys because they're not

found in any children's graves and they're not effigies of the deceased

because well there are not enough differences between them as you would differentiate people right

but people appear to have owned these figurines during their lifetimes and then they were buried with them when

they died yes as david says we don't really know what these figurines were used for or

what they meant to these ancient people much attention has been brought to them but in truth there's just not much to go

on or even talk about we just picture these figurines as mysterious because we'd lack the writing

or folklore to explain their purposes and meanings not necessarily because they are particularly shocking they

could represent all kinds of things they could be depictions of gods or guardian spirits or fantasy monsters

ancestors priests and masks or goofy hairstyles their vaguely lizard-like appearance could just be the product of

art style we just don't know and probably will never know their true meanings but one thing is clear that

these figurines are likely not depictions of alien reptoids in a similar vein let us examine the

nagas of south asian folklore the nagas can indeed be found in south asian myth

our oldest source on the nagas is the indian epic mahabharata the earliest

form of which dates to around the 8th or 9th century bce and since then the

stories about them have been expanded and embellished they're depicted as serpents sometimes

holy snakes other times part snake and part human other times just human

the fact that they don't have a single form highlights the non-physical magical

aspect of the nagas and in the legends some are said to have been rulers the nagarajas and some claim they came from

sri lanka as we can see nagas an actual south asian myth are not the race of advanced humanoid reptiles ancient

aliens claims the stories about them have been twisted to say things they explicitly don't for example the

underground naga city of patala is actually a type of underworld in indian cosmology like hades or hell it exists

in the lower depths of the universe itself reptilian proponents even use images of indian stepwells as entrances to patala

but these stepwells are not mysterious to archaeologists or even that ancient the oldest of them were created in the

2nd century a.d and most others especially the more complex ones were made much later in the 900s and 1080.

and yes we know that they were made by human hands for the very utilitarian purpose of collecting water not

entrances to reptilian cities these wells are medieval claiming aliens built them as just as ridiculous as

claiming aliens built christian cathedrals in europe ancient aliens also butchers the bible by reading a little

well let's be honest a lot between the lines take their claim that the serpent and the guardian of eden was a

completely humanoid reptilian the interpretation of the genesis story the garden of eden has been the subject of

great debate for literally centuries over time many people not just ancient

aliens have made the text say things that it explicitly does not state at all the identity and importance of the

serpent is one of them as far as we can tell in the original story the genesis serpent or nahash was

just that a serpent the story as the ancient israelites understood it was that this nahash was merely the first

snake created by god an ancestor to every snake afterwards

you can explicitly see this in the language of the text now the serpent was more subtle than any

other beast of the field which the lord god had made the word nahash is also used elsewhere

in the hebrew bible to refer to completely ordinary snakes aspects of the garden of eden serve as a

creation story a story that was told by early humans to explain a natural phenomena that they encountered in daily

life something that is universal to all religions since the dawn of time people have

always asked questions why does it rain or why is childbirth so painful

why don't snakes have legs like other animals the bible is filled with these kinds of

mythic explanations according to the ancient israelites prior to god punishing it the snake had

legs like a lizard but due to his cleverness he was cursed to crawl on his belly

there are also similarities in the story to the ancient text the epic gilgamesh in the significantly older story the

king gilgamesh wants to attain immortality and almost achieves this by consuming a magical flower however

serpent steals it from him at the last second and as a result the animal sheds its skin and retains its youth thus

explaining why snakes shed their skin the idea that the snake in genesis was satan or lucifer in disguise is a much

later reinterpretation deserving of its own video many aspects of the story we interpret today are not found in the

original text genesis for example later christian art depicting the serpent as a female humanoid likely comes from again

a reinterpretation of the narrative where the character of the serpent was fused with that of lilith a demon-like

succubus that has a pretty complicated history in about itself i discussed this in a previous video so

you should check that out anyways the point is no the snake in the garden of eden was not meant to be

interpreted as a reptilian it's just a dang snake

speaking of which we should talk about that sephiram in the bible as well ancient aliens describes them as a

serpent race the garden of eden snake just being one of them seraphim is the plural form of the hebrew word saraf

seraph which indeed does refer to a supernatural or heavenly being the hebrew root of the word which means

to burn or incinerate may refer to the seraph's act of burning or destroying

the enemies of god iconography from ancient judah has been found depicting a seraph which is a

winged serpent it has similarities to the urais of egypt a serpent that was believed to

spit fire this coincides with verses in the bible such as numbers 21 6-8 and deuteronomy 8

15 which speaks of fiery serpents and isaiah 14 21 which speaks of a flying

serpent all instances using the word seraph is a flying snake a reptile sure but a

winged serpent doesn't really coincide with the description of the reptilians that ancient aliens gives

they aren't humanoid it's true that a passage in genesis 3 14 has been interpreted by some to mean

that the snake originally had legs but this wouldn't automatically indicate it was humanoid

humans aren't the only creatures with legs after all ancient aliens does this a lot with

mythologies where they take these magical and fantastical stories 100 literally and this is simply a wrong way

to view them this is the type of show that sees a guy wearing a crocodile costume and thinks

it's an eyewitness sketch of an alien lizard that's what we're working with here the truth is humans are an

incredibly creative and imaginative species we love making things up mythologies around the world are filled

with chimeras absurd monsters made up of different parts of real animals haphazardly stitched together sumerian

mythology had bulls with the faces of men and the wings of eagles they had mermaids and scorpion men egyptians had

jackal-headed men and crocodile hippo hybrids creating stories about lizardmen

doesn't seem like it would be beyond their imagination as any child will tell you just because we dream up monsters and draw them

doesn't mean they are actually real what ancient aliens and other conspiracy theorists just don't seem to understand

about mythologies is that they are built on human imagination they grow and develop over time

changing with each retelling of the story to best suit the audience and the storyteller take for example the

mythical creature medusa we know medusa today as the beautiful woman in greek mythology she is

typically depicted as a woman with venomous serpents for hair however she was not always envisioned

like this in her oldest surviving depictions she looks much different shown to be far more centaur-like with

the hindquarters of a horse that's right medusa was originally a horse girl this fact actually makes way more sense

in the original myth with her role as the mother of pegasus interestingly if we fast forward a couple centuries later

we can see that ancient greek artists changed the story and re-envisioned her as a monstrous ogre-like creature and a

couple centuries after that she was viewed as far less grotesque pretty similar to the image we have

today mythologies are dynamic they're not meant to be taken as literal history

they're often magical stories that exist to teach some kind of moral lesson upon closer inspection all these

reptilian stories from around the world are very different there's no uniformity to them conspiracy theorists like to

play fast and loose with their definitions of what counts as a reptilian story it appears that any

mythology that describes a vaguely reptile-like monster or spirit is instantly jumped on as proof of ancient

aliens encounters snakes and lizards are everywhere you can find them on all but one of the

seven continents so it's no wonder that snake or lizard-inspired monsters appear in a lot of religions and myths

at the end of the day these stories are just that stories they don't prove anything except our species ability to

use our imagination and that's the really disappointing thing about the reptilian conspiracy is

that it's built on such flimsy non-existent evidence it's such a dumb story that you would hope that its

origins would be much more interesting but in the end it's just a bunch of nothing built on plagiarism after

plagiarism and nutty science fiction-inspired interpretations of old myths

and this is where i'd like to take the time to acknowledge that the whole conspiracy has a rather unsavory undertone to it all and as silly as it

is it is not entirely harmless fittingly the idea of the reptilians is pretty much just a blatant plagiarism of

an older conspiracy one that has existed in western culture for centuries

anti-semitism in the belief that jewish people are not only evil but secretly controlling the world's government

christians even believed rumors that jews drank the blood of children just like the reptilians consuming humans

like cattle let's please put this toxic mess in the waste bin of history where it belongs

well this is kind of a depressing ending so uh here's lizard bill clinton we could be a

food source i'd like to thank dr david mayano again for joining me for this installment feel free to check out his

channel for great archaeology topics and with that thank you so much for watching i hope you learned something new

see you guys next time

A story of trillionaires, billionaires and the richest man.

The current richest people in the word, like Elon  Musk, Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates, all have fortunes

worth well over 100 billion dollars. And yet,  if we account for inflation, their wealth is not

even close to making them the richest people  ever. So today, we’re delving into the past

to explore the richest people in history, and  how they made their unthinkably large fortunes.

And we start with #1: John D. Rockefeller,  the oil magnate that’s widely considered

the richest American of all time, with an  approximate net worth of around 400 billion

dollars in today’s money, even after giving  a substantial amount of his fortune away.

And yet, he started from very humble beginnings.  He was born into a large family, with a father

who was frequently absent and was regarded  as a con-man who sold worthless potions. So,

from a young age, John needed to help  provide for the family, and took on odd jobs,

like looking after the neighbours  turkeys, or selling potatoes and candy.

Even though these things didn’t pay  a lot, John was really good at them

and worked hard, and so he was able to save  enough money to start offering small loans

to other people. So even as a young boy  that entrepreneurial instinct was there.

But when he turned 16 he dropped out of school and  got his first real job as a book-keeper, earning

just 50 cents a day. However, after working there  for around 2 years, his employers still refused to

give him a meaningful raise, and so he decided  to start his own produce business, as he had

a goal to make $100,000, and knew he’d need to  build something of his own to reach that target.

Luckily, that first job had already taught him  a lot, and gave him the experience, connections

and reputation, to raise $4,000 for starting his  own venture; a business selling goods like meat,

hay and grain. Which did well, in the first  year of trading it made almost half a million

dollars - of course Rockefeller didn’t keep all of  that, a lot of it went back into business expenses

and loans, but it meant when a big opportunity  arose, he now had some real money to invest.

And that opportunity, was oil. In 1859,  the first American oil well was discovered,

which began the Pennsylvania oil rush. However,  Rockefeller realised that whilst most people

were trying to get rich from drilling oil, the  bigger profits were actually in oil refinery. So,

at just 24 years old, he used the money from  his first business to build an oil refinery.

Now, around this time he met a man named  Henry Flagler who was interested in

investing in his business, and so together  they incorporated the Standard Oil Company,

and began the process of buying out all the  smaller nearby oil refineries that were in

competition with them. Whenever any of these  refineries refused to sell their oil to him,

he simply started selling his oil at a loss so  that their customers flocked to him instead,

which would put these smaller  companies out of business.

These kind of practices allowed  the Standard Oil company

to keep expanding across the entire country - they  kept buying out rivals, undercutting competitors,

and cutting costs wherever possible. The more  they grew, the more negotiating power they had,

so they could push for better rates and prices  and discounts on everything. Rockefeller was also

known for some shady secret deals, and so with  all of these factors combined, by the 1870’s,

Rockefeller's oil company owned 90%  of the world's oil refining industry.

He also hired the owners of the oil refineries he  bought as a board of trustees, which meant that

all the smartest oil experts were all working  within one super company, with Rockefeller at

the head of it. He owned 20,000 oil wells, had  over 100,000 employees, and at the vert peak,

some estimate its total value would today  have been worth almost a trillion dollars.

This kind of empire was pretty unheard  of, but Rockefeller wasn’t done yet.

At this point, the two biggest industries were  oil and railroads, so Rockefeller set out to do

a similar thing he’d just done with oil, with  railroads. However, as he begun monopolizing

another industry, he also began to become a bit  of a public enemy. He was depicted as the ultimate

symbol of corporate greed and cruelty. In response  to Rockefeller’s ever-growing empire, legislation

was passed to try and prevent these kind of  monopolies; in particular, The Sherman Anti-trust

act was passed, which would lead to the breakup  of Standard Oil into different subsidiaries.

Except, over time many of these subsidiaries would  simply merge back together, and are still around

to this today - such as BP and Chevron. And,  since Rockefeller kept his share in all of those

companies even after they got split up, it meant  that at the time of his death, he was still the

richest person in the world, and likely the  richest self-made man in all of modern history.

Now, what should we actually  think about John D Rockefeller?

On the one hand, he made oil an affordable  commodity, and brought it to the masses. He

went from nothing to building a business  empire that may never be matched again.

He gave around $540 million to charitable courses,

which when you adjust for inflation, makes him  one of the most accomplished philanthropists ever.

However, on the other hand, Rockefeller was  a greedy, ruthless tyrant of business, who

sometimes bullied, extorted and exploited others  on his merciless path to dominance, especially

the tactics used to crush the competition.  Biographer Ron Chernow argues ‘his good side was

every bit as good as his bad side was bad. Seldom  has history produced such a contradictory figure.’

However what’s undeniable, is  he will always be remembered

for his insanely vast fortune  and the impact he had.

But wait. We now need to travel back  in time even further, to someone who

was arguably much richer than Rockefeller,  and yet many people have never heard of him.

However, quick side note before that:  the further back in history we go,

the harder it is to definitively rank wealth.  When we’re talking about modern history,

it’s a lot easier - for example we can  say with a good level of certainty that:

Andrew Carnegie had an empire worth around 310  billion dollars, as he founded the Carnegie

Steel Company, which later became U.S Steel,  the first billion dollar company in the world.

We also know for sure that Henry Ford had an  empire worth around $200 billion dollars when he

died in 1947, as he founded Ford Motor company  and pioneered assembly line mass production.

And so with businessmen like that it’s  much easier to calculate their wealth; but

once we start talking about the value of owning  countries and land, things get a little blurrier.

Even in present day, some people would  disagree with the the Forbes rich list

that puts Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos  as the richest people in the world.

Its been argued that someone like Vladirmir Putin  may be the real wealthiest person alive today,

it’s just it’s difficult to  verify exactly what he owns.

So bearing all that in mind, let’s go back  to our list of the richest people in history,

and venture all the way back to the  14th century, where we find Mansa Musa,

considered by many historians as the  richest person human to ever live.

Mansa Musa ruled the Mali empire in

Africa for 25 years, which was extremely rich in  salt and gold. In fact, some sources estimate they

were the largest gold producer in the world, and  had more than half of the world's total supply.

And so Mansa spent the early part of  his reign expanding Mali’s trade routes,

which allowed them to trade their gold  and salt all across Africa and Asia.

Under his leadership, the Mali empire tripled  in size - he conquered 24 major cities,

and it’s believed he never lost a battle in his  lifetime. However, Mansa also got many territories

to join the Mali empire willingly, due to the  relatively high quality of life its citizens had.

However, Mansa wasn’t content with  that - he wanted to truly put the Mali

empire on the map to the whole world. Now,  since he was a devoutly religious Muslim,

he had already planned to  go on a pilgrimage to Mecca,

and then he realised he could use this trip as as  an opportunity to capture the world’s attention.

And thus in 1324, he began the most  extravagant pilgrimage in human history.

The voyage, which would span an estimated 4,000  miles, was travelled by Mansa Musa with tens of

thousands of soldiers, slaves and heralds,  draped in Persian silk and carrying golden

staffs. One account estimated up to 60,000  people travelled with him, each carrying

up to hundreds of pounds of gold. It’s fair  to say it was a spectacle that got noticed.

But Mansa also gave away huge amounts of gold  to the poor he met along his route, and it was

reported he built a Mosque every Friday. Having  said that, his generosity somewhat backfired,

as it’s also claimed that he spent so  much gold on souvenirs during his journey,

that he destabilized the local  economy and caused mass inflation,

since these territories had never had so much gold  before, and he was handing it out so freely. And,

if you really think about that, it  highlights how absurdly rich Mansa Musa was:

that he essentially caused a financial  crisis by spending too much on his travels.

When he finally returned from his pilgrimage, the  Mali empire had annexed Timbuktu under his orders,

and he established it as the epicentre for  commerce in the region. He had also brought back

with him scholars and architects, who helped him  build schools and mosques. Mansa even established

the first major university in the region, which  could take up to 25,000 students, and had one of

the largest libraries in the world. All of these  different building projects further elevated the

city’s reputation, and helped attract even more  top scholars from all over Africa and beyond.

And therefore, many historians credit  Mansa with leading the Mali Empire

to even greater prosperity and development.

However, whilst Musa did indeed put the Mali  empire on the map like he wanted, it didn’t quite

have the intended consequences. As news of their  huge wealth and gold supplies made its way to

Europe, several European powers saw an opportunity  to conquer the empire and take the resources for

themselves. But, by that point Mansa would have  died, and already cemented himself in history

as one of the richest people to ever live. Now, as for how rich he was, some estimates put

Mansa’s modern day wealth equivalent at between  400-500 billion dollars - but remember it is

extremely difficult to accurately compare today’s  money, with a fortune that was built on salt,

gold and territory. So, I guess you could say,  take this estimate with a very big pinch of salt.

However, because historians can’t  quite agree on how to compare wealth

from so many centuries ago, that means the  title of the richest person ever is still up

for debate - so let’s finish this video with 3  very honourable mentions who may be contenders:

One person that could have been the richest in  history, is Ghenghis Khan. The fearsome Mongol

leader conquered a mind-blowing 12 million square  miles of land between 1206 and his death in 1227,

more than anyone else in history. As he  conquered all of these different kingdoms,

he also took their wealth and possessions,  which combined with the value of the land

he took, would arguably have been worth  trillions of dollars - or in other words

incomprehensibly large amounts  that is difficult to even quantify.

It’s an extremely brutal way to build your  fortune, but it was certainly effective.

Another candidate for the richest person  in history is Jakob Fugger, also known as

Jakob Fugger the Rich - and you don’t get a name  like that without having a pretty giant fortune.

In fact, if you took Europe’s entire economic  output at the time Jakob was alive, he owned 2.2%

of all of that. Of the entire continent! Jakob was  the 10th of 11 children, but would go on to become

a banker who financed kings, explorers, and  religious leaders - what’s crucial here though,

is that before Fugger came along, Christians  could not legally charge interest on loans, but

he managed to convince the Pope to change this,  and then profited from the rule change immensely.

In a biography written about him, the author  explains that Fugger just seemed to have a gift

for making money and spotting opportunities,  especially when it came to business and

investments. For example, when the Archduke  of Austria desperately needed a loan,

Fugger decided to offer it when no other banker  would. And it paid off big time. He also had a

great talent for convincing other people to  lend him money so that he could invest it,

and turn it into a much bigger profit. He  was undeniably very strategic and shrewd,

and built a fortune that would today be  worth an estimated $400 billion dollars.

But, now it’s time for one final candidate  for the richest people ever, Caesar Augustus,

the first Roman emperor, reigning from 27  BC until his death in 14 AD. Time Magazine

once estimated his equivalent  net worth today as being "$4.6

trillion" because he "personally owned all of  Egypt". But again, going back this far in time,

it’s virtually impossible to put  an accurate number on his wealth.

So we can’t say for certain who takes the title of  the richest person ever, but we can definitively

say that all of these names mentioned in this  video had obscene levels of wealth, and were

amongst the wealthiest humans to ever live, with  fortunes far bigger than Jeff Bezos or Elon musk…

at least, for now. Of course both of these men are  still working and growing their business empires,

so if either of them have some  more major breakthroughs, like

colonising Mars, then who knows  how vast their fortunes may become.

But, now a question for you: what are your  thoughts on all of these incredibly wealthy

historical figures? I know that for some people,  hearing about wealth can be kind of motivating,

whereas for other people, it  can just seem really unfair.

But if you do feel that way, then it’s worth  remembering that the fact you have access

to antibiotics, electricity, internet  and so on - means that in many ways,

your quality of life is greater  than some of the richest kings,

emperors and business magnates in  history that we’ve just heard about.

After all, you can do something that Rockefeller,  Mansa Musa, and all the others never could.

You can subscribe, to MagnatesMedia.

And if you did enjoy this video, we have  plenty more mini-documentaries coming very

Very few know this; 33 degree knowing.

Hey guys welcome to my blog here is what we gonna talk about today.

The word principles let's define it

principle comes from the Latin noun

principia principia means first foremost

leading Chief or most necessary it is

that which Matters Most is the first things that must be

understood before anything else can be

understood principles have to come first

I'm attempting to take this information

out of hiding it's been hidden

The Hiding of it is destroying the

fabric of our society and putting us

into bondage it needs to come out and be

non-hidden needs to be unveiled and

shared widely and freely with anybody

who's capable of accepting it and

comprehending it now.

And this is the problem our society does

not put principles first it puts

trivialities first and we're no longer a

society that even cares about principles

or first things so first things first

first things or principles have to come

first these are the seven general

principles of natural law many people

who have studied some variants of

occultism May recognize these as what

are known as the Hermetic principles.

There is a moral obligation to bring

this information to the public now

the principle of mentalism states that

the all everything in creation is

actually a manifestation of mind they

always mind.

Hey what this means is everything that

happens has to be a result of a mental state

which preceded it everything

for anything to exist thoughts had to

form first and then they formed the physical reality afterthe universe itself is a mental

construct of the creator

thoughts lead to the manifestation of

things and events

thoughts create conditions

thoughts create things and conditions

they cannot just magically manifest

themselves thought comes first

thoughts create our state of existence

and the quality of our experience here

on Earth ultimately.

Therefore we should be responsible for

everything that we create by being

responsible for that which we think

because the thought processes are what

are driving the behaviors people behave

the way they do because they have

certain belief systems embedded in the

mind and running like a program their

thoughts and their emotions are driving

their actions.

So the behavior is not magically subtly

gonna just change the thoughts and

emotions have to change because they're

the driving force behind the behavior

that's when reality will change.

See people don't want to hear that once

again they don't want to hear if you

want to change reality you yourself have

to change the way you think because the

way you think is not conducive to the

requirements for getting what you say

you want.

They're doing the exact opposite of that

in many cases

so that's the principle of mentalism the

principle of Correspondence states that

that which is above is similar or like

to that which is below

so what this means is.

That which is below and that which is

below is like to that which is above

it's a mirror okay the above is like the

below the below is like the above all

right the above in this case is the

macrocosm okay the laws of the very

large things okay the laws that govern

the creation which we consider is

seemingly outside of ourselves so the

macrocosm or the very large the totality

of everything and the microcosm which is

the very small or the individuated units

that comprise the whole in their

aggregate okay.

They are reflections of each other

they cannot be separated from each other

as one goes the other goes

the universe is actually a holographic

system it's a hologram is an image okay

you pass a laser through it and it then

projects a 3D image okay it's like a

flat image and IT projects a

three-dimensional image but the aspect

why they call it a hollow like holistic

hologram holistic image is if you break.

A hologram into multiple components by

cutting it so if I take a hologram and I

cut it in four pieces you don't have a

quarter of the image on one part of the

Hologram and a quarter on the other and

a quarter on the third and a quarter on

the fourth you have four whole images

that only lose their resolution by a

quarter so.

Everything is contained in all the

smaller parts

okay that's like the reality that we're

living in our universe is a holographic

one so the universe is inside the

individual

and the entire universe is like an

individual the reflections of each other

the other part of the principle of

Correspondence is that our reality is

also fractal in nature now if you

studied fractals these are self-similar

mathematical generated patterns okay we

see this through things like Fibonacci

sequence in in mathematics and this is

repeated endlessly throughout nature you

look at the um structure of the atom and

it's similar to the structure of the

solar system which is similar to the

structure of the Galaxy they work the

same way they look the same you pull

back enough you'll keep seeing the same

pattern repeat so.

        The universe is both holographic

meaning the whole is contained in the

parts and vice versa and it is fractal

or self-similar across all scales of its

existence that's the principle of

Correspondence the principle of

vibration simply states that there is no

such thing as rest as dead or or

non-motion okay.

Death in that sense is an illusion

because true death would be the

cessation of all motion and energy there

is no such thing it doesn't exist you

cannot go anywhere in creation where

something is at complete rest.

          Everything moves everything vibrates and

at the most fundamental level the

universe and every single thing which

comprises it is ultimately pure

vibratory energy that is manifesting

itself in different ways different

frequencies different vibratory forms

the universe has no true solidity as

such as we imagine solidity at the macro

Cosmic level.

Matter is merely energy in a state of

vibration so

nothing is truly solid you know it's

it's a SP it's again like we say we are

Spirit having a human experience the

whole universe is spiritual having us us

experience in salinity all right that's

how you have to look at the principle of

vibration.

The principle of polarity states that

everything has a dual nature to it there

are polarities in everything that exists

okay everything has poles everything has

its pair of opposites.

       However, opposites they they are

identical in nature but they're

different in degree so let me give you

an example of what that means

are hot and cold really opposites or can

we simply look at them as the presence

of heat energy or the absence of heat

energy meaning that they're the same

thing.

Energy and whether it's concentrated in

a specific area which would make it hot

or whether it's absent from a specific

area which would make it cold

okay that's what hot and cold are at the

fundamental level at our level of

perception there are opposites but at

the fundamental level they're the same

thing energy or it's or lack thereof

extremes can meet and blend and you know

play with each other like as depicted in

the yin yang symbol masculine and

feminine they need to be Blended and at

some level of reality everything that is

seemingly contradictory may be

reconciled now again I stress the term

at some level at the unified field level

this everything is consciousness pure

Consciousness however at this level

there are differences in Consciousness

at this level there are things that are

taking place that we need to understand

at this level there are things that we

need to set right and rectify because it

does matter it does matter so again be

careful with some of the new ageisms

that get put out there yes do it can all

paradoxes be reconciled at some level in

this realm.

We need to have our feet on the ground

in the physical domain let's look at the

principle of rhythm everything flows out

and in everything has its Tides all

things rise and fall okay so everything

has a rhythm to it or a swing to it

there's tendencies that exist in energy

the pendulum swing manifests in

everything that we undergo everything we

perceive the measure of the swing to the

right is the measure of the swing to the

left it's just an opposite it's

perceived as an opposite Rhythm will

compensate now what this how this should

be understood when we are talking about

natural law many people will say well

that's just the way the tendency is

moving us it's just the way the tide is

taking us right but that's not really

accurate okay we can't look at these

things as that The rhythms are set in

stone and it has to be this way now

right one of the things that a lot of

the Hermetic tradition taught regarding

these laws these principles were they

can be overcome.

Buy higher levels of consciousness okay

this one was one of them Rhythm is a

principle that is a tendency for

something to swing a certain way let's

look at it as you have a boat you want

to row the boat out to sea right

you have to get past the tide you have

to get past the breakers and the waves

and if that Tide's really strong at high

tide it's going to be very much more

difficult you're gonna have to expend

more energy to get it out to sea if

however you were taking it when the

current's moving out to sea okay there's

a a flow that's moving outward deeper

into the ocean and you start rowing that

boat then you're going to be able to do

it much more easily okay so if there's

if there's winds pushing along a plane

it's going to have to expend less energy

it's going to get there more quickly

because it's adding to the energy if

however you're flying Against the Wind

you've got to expend a lot more energy

it's just the tendency you can still get

to where you want to go you may just

have to exert more effort so that's the

principle of Rhythm this is the

principle here in natural law that most

fits in with how I'm using the term

natural law today cause and effect many

people again in the New Age Community

don't want to believe that there's

causes and effects and that effects are

driven by causes that you know come

first and then manifest conditions so

the principle of cause and effect simply

states that every cause has its effect

and every effect has its cause

every single thing that occurs happens

according to law all right chance is a

name for law a law not recognized

there are many planes of causation but

nothing escapes the law so again is

there free will yes there is free will

but is there free will to ignore Law

Without consequence no there is not

that's the limit of free will

Free Will is operating within boundary

conditions that I'm referring to as

natural law.

        Series of laws actually okay

Free Will operates Within These

parameters or boundary conditions that

cannot be exceeded or gone beyond

without consequence oh yeah you can

break natural law yes you can break it

but you cannot break it without

consequence.

You cannot break it without consequence

negative consequence and that's why this

body of knowledge has in the past been

referred to as consequentialism it is

the knowledge of how consequences are

generated by our Free Will

decision-making processes within the

boundaries of natural law

will the effect happen immediately no it

will not happen immediately there is a

time lag.

You set the cause into motion the

universe is going to intelligently bring

to you through a rearrangement of all

the Dynamics that it needs to rearrange

the effect of what you've generated by

setting that cause and emotion and there

is a Time gap between the the cause

going into place and the effect coming

around and hitting you this is why the

pattern recognition of cause and effect

is more difficult because it is

separated by a time lag by what we

perceive as linear time now.

If you they're wrong to somebody

and immediately you were stung by a wasp

every single time you did it wrong to

somebody it showed up and bit you

immediately within two seconds of you

hurting somebody stealing from somebody

lying to somebody.

Would you start to connect the stinging

to the wrong that you did I think most

people would see the pattern they would

recognize the pattern but since that

doesn't happen and there's a time lag to

gener to experiencing something harmful

to ourselves once we do something

harmful to other people it's very

difficult for people to see the

connection through the time lag so this

is ultimately going to come back and

bite us you know and what we said into

motion is going to actually topple over

onto us if we don't change our thoughts

emotions and behaviors.

The the next thing that needs to be

understood is the two planes all right

there's the plane of effects and then

there's the plane of causes

no power to affect any change lies on

the plane of effects which is the

physical manifested reality

again what already is nothing can be

done about what already is you cannot

change.

           You cannot change the past

you can change what it is starting now

and make sure that it gets changed in

the future

but right now what is is the truth and

all you can do is accept that or reject

it.

You can't change the past so the

physical world that is manifested up to

this point happened because of things

that occurred in the past the causes

happened in the past nothing you could

do about that right now.

The plane of effects or the physical

world is where

manifested realities have already

occurred have already taken shape have

already formed due to their underlying

causal factors.

The plane of effects constitutes that

which has already occurred as such no

power to affect change lies here because

that which has already occurred cannot

unoccur.

That which has occurred can't undo

itself it happened it's already done

it has become that which is or truth

human consciousness seems to be trapped

upon the plane of effects meaning that

Humanity as a whole remains ignorant of

the underlying causes causes which they

themselves have set into motion and

which lead to self-inflicted suffering

in their lives.

So if you're trapped at this level what

you're doing is you're looking at the

symptoms and you're stuck looking at the symptoms

so let's look at the plane of causality

this is the other plane this is the

mental realm the mental world again

according to the law of mentalism the

first principle of natural law

everything that manifests must first

manifest in mind before it can manifest

physically.

So again if the plane of causality is

the mental world that's generating the

causes in mind okay

everything is happening there first and

then it is trickling down to the

physical domain

it is manifesting in the physical domain

only after it has manifested in the

mental world

the plane of causality is where causes

are set into motion prior to those

causes manifesting as formed realities

in the plane of effects

the final principle of the um seven

principles of natural law at least the

the formalized ones are gender gender

exists in everything everything has its

masculine and its feminine components or

principles we've already seen that when

it comes to human brain Consciousness

world view Etc

gender manifests on all planes of

existence

spiritual mental physical everything

very simple concept what I want to

briefly talk about is mental gender

mental gender is the state of

coexistence between the masculine and

feminine aspects of the Mind

our left brain hemisphere largely

facilitates the masculine aspects of the

Mind where the intellect logic

analytical thought linear thought

processes while the right brain

hemisphere largely facilitates the

feminine aspect or intuition meaning

creativity compassion and holistic

thought processes this next section is

what I call the Lost principle this is

the eighth principle of natural law

which binds all of the other principles

together it is what I would call the

encapsulating principle

hey it's the container inside which all

the other principles fit very nicely and

neatly you hear very few other

researchers even people who are studying

this from the occult perspective who are

studying this from the consequentialism

perspective you very hear them

incorporate the eighth and all

encompassing principle this pattern is

called something does anybody know what

this pattern is called the seed of life

now what happens from a seed

grows it generates something it creates

something a seed has an outer casing an

outer shell that if you're going to get

to the inner core of it that contains

all of the creative genetic generative

material okay that shell has to be there

and intact you break the shell of the

seed the creative essence of the seed is

going to be gone

now what is that principle here's what

that principle is it's the eighth or

what I call the Lost principle

and it's the thing that has to be

present in order for any change to

manifest itself and it is not what most

people think of it as even when I tell

you what this is I guarantee you there

will be a inaccurate connotative meaning

for what people think this means okay

here's what the eighth principle is it

is known as the generative principle or

the principle which governs creation

which actually is the causal factor that

goes into effect and generates the

result that we say that we want but

what's the real term for it who can

guess what the actual term what the

generative principle of creation

actually is the generative principle is

care now

this is different than compassion people

say why don't you use the word

compassion because that's not what I'm

talking about it is a different concept

than Compassion or even what I would

describe as love

this means

what are you giving attention and

helping to grow what are you focusing

upon because what Focus you're focusing

upon that's what's ultimately getting

generated getting created and growing

and this doesn't mean be ignorant of

what's going on in the world and don't

look at anything that's negative because

you're going to feed that and give power

to it that's not what it means that

means you know what you're feeding in

that instance if you want to do that

you're feeding ignorance and that's

what's going to grow

it's the exact opposite that the new

agers want you to believe that it is by

ignoring the negative you are ensuring

that more of it occurs

you are fueling it by ignorance

ensuring that it grows and takes over

what care has to be looked at here as is

this is what you're giving your energy

to this is what you're focused upon this

is what you actually care enough about

to do to spend your time on to put your

attention on to manifest in the world

that's what I'm talking about as care

that's what generates our experience in

the aggregate most people don't care

about what's really happening

therefore it is an impossibility for us

in the Agri aggregate to change the

direction of energy to change the

direction of Consciousness and

ultimately to get what we say we want

that's how the real Law of Attraction

Works here's how it actually operates

the Lost principle is the dynamic of

care what we care about on a day-to-day

basis acts as the driving force of our

thoughts and actions what did I say we

need to develop the heart mind guts

right heart mind guts in that order

care comes first you've got to care

enough to know

to develop the knowledge

okay then you got to act on it and put

it into practice

apply it

so that's the order heart mind guts

care knowledge action

those are the steps and all three of

those have to be in place

all three

that's what Unity Consciousness is it's

unifying false emotions and actions

the three aspects of Consciousness such

there is no contradiction between them

our thoughts what we say what we think

how we feel and how we act are one and

the same there's no contradiction that's

Unity Consciousness care is the driver

of our thoughts and actions it all

ultimately can be seen as the generator

of the quality of our shared experience

here on the earth care is what generates

the whole thing hence it has been called

the generative principle

liken the heart to a pump in the body

well what does a pump do it's a

generator it provides energy it moves

the Life Force Through the blood in the

body in every ancient tradition they

talk about the life force being in the

blood the heart is what pumps that

through the whole physiology and enables

us to continue to sustain life okay the

heart is the generator it's the pump

it's the center of the being as

important as the brain is which we just

talked about the importance of it the

heart is ultimately what's generating

The Experience because what we care

about determines what we think about on

a daily basis most of the time and

therefore how we behave and anybody

familiar with the compasses and square

symbol of Freemasonry with the G in the

middle well that's what the G stands for

at the highest level you'll talk about

many many porch Masons these are the

exoteric Masons that are given the

teachings of the profane and they think

they're in the know okay they're given

the the information well this only means

geometry it only means god.

Okay one of the things they'll tell

you it means in at a slightly higher

level is that it means gnosis

knowledge at a higher level at

illuminated levels of Freemasonry which

are above 32nd degree they will give you

what the real.

meaning of the G inside the compasses

and square is and it is the generative

principle it means Genesis

creation.

and yeah you can tie that right back to

God I'm not saying those things are

different and the the forms that get

created in the physical manifested world

are geometric forms so it is geometry as

well it's all these things but at the

highest level it's the generative

principle that's what that g really

stands for in esoteric Freemasonry it's

called the generative principle because

that means to create it comes from the

word generative comes from Latin the

verb generate as we've already talked

about means to create.

The generative principle is what we

create through

and it's lost because people don't care

they don't have care hence it's the Lost

principle okay here's how it works folks

what we care enough to put our will

behind so again heart mind guts

guts is the will.

        The action the masculine principle

that's what gets gets things done

ultimately in the physical domain what

we care enough to put our will behind

and that's driven by the care that's the

generator or the pump that drives the

will what we care enough to put our will

behind is ultimately what gets created

or manifested in our world.

The world is the way that it is because

most people do not care enough even if

they say they pay lip service

okay and say that they want things to be

different they don't care enough to

actually change it through their actions

what it comes down to is preventing

action.

Preventing action that's what the new

age Community is designed to do they

want people inactive because the darker

cultists know that the thing that is

ultimately generating our reality is

behavior action is what's generating the

reality that gets generated through what

we care about because our cares and our

desires Drive our actions so most people

will say they want things to change but

then when you say what are you doing to

make that change happen.

Not a word silence comes back on the

other end they don't care enough to

change it through their actions that's

what the generative or lost principle is

about until that principle is regained

and people get out of their laziness and

most of all get out of their cowardice

again in that new age lecture I'm

talking about what It ultimately comes

down to in the New Age movement and I'll

look at any new Ager in the eyes

they're cowards.

Ultimately they know the evil that we're

up against and they intend to do not a

damn thing about it

that's what it really that's what it

really comes down to and anybody telling

you it's different than that is lying to

you they're cowards period and I'll say

it right to any of their faces anything

I say up here else anybody that believes

in that nonsense come and bring them to

me I'll tell them right to their face

straight and open just like I said it

here because I don't care.

So I'm telling you this religion has to

go it's got to go if people are going to

make real change happen

the idea that it can't be done

uh that it can be done without taking

actual real world action has to be

purged from human consciousness reality

does not work like that period the end

and I can't make you accept that I

recognize I can't make anybody in this

room accept that all I could do is put

it out there for your consideration and

if you have some common sense and really

really think about it you'll understand

what I'm saying here is absolutely the

way it is.

Many people want to deceive you through

these religious Notions which is all

about getting people to stand down and

accept their chains

that's what that religion's in place for.
